Yes, that is correct, Sydney Water now has a new phone number to call regarding plumbing and drainage inspections.

 

From the 1st day of November 2008, all NSW and Sydney plumbers must call 1300 889 099 in order to book plumbing and drainage inspections, or to obtain technical information. Inspections bookings can be arranged between 7.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively you may organise an after hours inspection by arrangement. Please note that additional fees apply for these services.
