Mr Costa has announced that Sydney siders who own a pool will be required to obtain a permit in order to fill their pool with water as required. The permit is required for Sydney residents who own a pool that is greater than 10,000 litres in volume. In order to obtain the permit, residents must prove that they use water efficiently. This is greatly assisted by the installation of some sydney plumbing water saving devices. We have listed some ways you can save Sydney more water this summer through the use of some plumbing installations. These include:

• Install water saving shower heads as part of your Bathroom plumbing installations
• Use a toilet cistern that saves water
• Fix any leaking taps or toilets.
• Install a rainwater tank
