From the 1st day of November 2008 plumbers must call 1300 889 099 to book plumbing and drainage inspections. Sydney Plumbers can also obtain technical information from Sydney Water through this phone number. Plumbers investigating blocked drains or repairing burst pipes are urged to call this number if in any doubt. Bookings with Sydney Water can be made anytime between 7.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday or after hours by arrangement (please note that additional fees apply). Yes, that is correct, Sydney Water now has a new phone number to call regarding plumbing and drainage inspections. From the 1st day of November 2008, all NSW and Sydney plumbers must call 1300 889 099 in order to book plumbing and drainage inspections, or to obtain technical information. Inspections bookings can be arranged between 7.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively you may organise an after hours inspection by arrangement. Two artists, Neha Madhok and David Jones, have been awarded prize money for representing the theme "Water for Life" in a short film and photography. These were part of the Earth Festival which raised awareness of the importance of water and what it means to us in our daily lives.
